WHY IS AN INFORMATION SYSTEM IMPORTANT?

Today, computers are so important in business world, because the information of an organization is stored in its memories, it reduces the costs and the company can be more competitive in the market. Also, is important because of internet, in order to connect with other business people all over the world and in order to have a closer relation with the customers of the company. The use of technology gives to the organization more productivity and power in every single way. Maybe, we don´t know why technology is so essential in a company, and we think that is just a complement and no so main, but we have to think that technologies tools open so many doors in a specific market. If the company has the tool to stored information in system information will know what its problems are and what have to do in a future to solve those problems.

In an information system the company has every detail about how the sales are, if the company has been growing or the company has been decreasing, about employees, logistics, manufacturing, financial and marketing information. This is a good strategy, to keep all the information about the organization, because you will see how your company is and this is an agreed value to the costumers.

The information system has some components that business people have to know, it is very useful; the first one is data that the information system collects and keeps; the second one is database that is a collection of data; the third one is process that generates information for making a decision and the fourth one is information that is useful for making decision. If the company knows this terms will help them in order to have a good information system on it.

To create an information system is essential to have the technologies to do it in the right way. Today, big companies have technologies tools and are so competitive in the market, because they know how to use it and why it is important in business world.  If we want to be a big company we have to think about to create an information system to analyze all information and analyze the process of a company from its initial information until today.

In the future the technologies will be more used and will be so indispensable for every company in the market, maybe they will be cheaper and more accessible to all people like today, but information system will be obligatory to run a company  because the importance that it has over information in an organization.
